deAPI Is Now on the Apify Store

Eleven deAPI actors are live on the Apify Store. They transcribe YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, Kick and podcast audio, analyze what happens on screen in videos and ads, generate videos with sound, upscale images and remove backgrounds. You paste links or a prompt into a form and click Start, and Apify bills each result to your Apify account. You don’t need a deAPI account or API key.

If you already call the deAPI API from code, nothing changes for you. The actors are for people who work inside Apify and want the next step of their pipeline without leaving it.

What Apify gives you on top of the API

Most of it comes down to chaining. A deAPI actor can take another actor’s dataset as input, so Video Ad Analyzer reads an ad library scraper’s results directly. That matters because Meta’s video links expire after about four days. Chain the two and every scrape gets analyzed before its links go stale.

The rest is plumbing you would otherwise build yourself. You can save a run as a task and schedule it, for example to transcribe every new episode of a podcast RSS feed each morning. Finished runs go to a webhook, Make, Zapier, n8n or Google Drive, and an AI assistant such as Claude can start the actors through the Apify MCP server. Transcripts come with SRT and VTT subtitles, and every dataset exports as JSON, CSV or Excel.

How billing works

Each actor charges per result, and the unit depends on the job: started minutes for transcripts, megapixels for images. A link that fails or gets skipped stays in the dataset with its error and costs nothing. You can set a maximum cost per run, and the run stops when it hits it.

Every actor also works on Apify’s free plan within a monthly cap. That covers roughly 60 minutes a month on YouTube Transcript AI, or 20 images on the upscaler.

Prices come from the Apify Store on 28 October 2026. Each actor’s page shows the current ones. Word-level timestamps and speaker labels cost more on the transcription actors.

If you want to see what the underlying models return before you run anything, we’ve covered YouTube transcription, Twitch VODs and visual video analysis on this blog.

Actor or API

The same job costs less through the deAPI API:

JobActor on ApifydeAPI API
One-hour YouTube video$0.0711$0.052
One-hour audio file$0.0753$0.052
One-hour Twitch VOD$0.1988$0.150
One-minute TikTok video$0.0289$0.015

Segment timestamps, no speaker labels. API prices from the /price endpoint on 27 October 2026.

The API also covers every model in the catalogue, including text-to-speech and image generation, which have no actors yet. In return you write the code and handle jobs and results yourself.

The actor fits one-off research and jobs that already live next to other Apify scrapers. Once the work runs inside your own app, or a cent per video starts to add up, the API is the better deal.

The full list with examples lives on the deAPI actors on Apify page.
